Amélie Nilles / necrotrance

For the first time, Tonarium will host a double concert format, presenting two consecutive performances designed as a coherent, immersive whole.

The evening opens with an original set by Amelie Nilles, a French artist known for her explorations of spatial sound composition. Her performance is an intimate, multichannel experience, blending voice, electronics, and field recordings. The result is a sonic landscape that shifts between light and shadow, experimental textures and pop sensibility.

The second part of the evening features Filippos Sakagian, a Greek-Armenian composer and multimedia artist, renowned for his emotionally charged sound rituals. Performing under the alias necrotrance [几ㄒ匚], he presents a trance-inducing experience on the edge of dream, decay, and rebirth. His performance leads the audience through the darkness of the subconscious, guided by spatial sound and responsive lighting, toward forgotten memories and hidden emotions.
