Musical family picnic
On August 19, the Silesian Museum and the Soundscape Foundation organized a completely free, musical family picnic and afternoon outdoor concerts at the Museum.
The program included:
14:00 – 17:00
- Museum as a resonator – sound installation and concert by Michał Świeboda (Tonallaxe)
- Soundset – a sound laboratory for adults combined with a jam session, hosted by Anna Dudziak
- Animations for children – workshops „Coal and its secrets” and „Laces of Meluzyna”, conducting „Pajka Pana Kleksa”
- Urban planning and music workshops using Playtronics with a summary concert, conducted by Jakub Mokrzysiak and Michał Świeboda
- Culinary workshops with Marlena Starzec

- Gordon music workshops for parents/guardians with children, conducted by Dorota Banaś
17:00
- Concert: Jazz urban stories, performers Marek Pospieszalski TRIO
18:00
- Concert: Improvised soundscape of industrial Silesia, performers Piotr Ceglarek, Jan Dybała
